Born and raised in the bluegrass state, M.A.D. Stache was the original inspiration for the Big and Tall section in department stores all across America. Nearly 7 feet tall and weighing in at over 300 pounds, he has grown to one of the largest guitar players in the world.

Choosing to focus solely on music at an early age, he failed to develop any athletic skills. Despite his inability to play a sport that did not discourage the struggling Miami Dolphins from approaching him in 2007 just prior to the team finishing last in the NFL.

M.A.D Stache got his start in the music business backing various artists on the nursing home circuit. He also worked as a hired gun for a number of Holiday Inn lounge acts before becoming nationally known as lead guitarist for the Strawberry Alarm Clock tribute band, Blackberry Timepiece.

In addition to his more recent work as the lead guitarist for Superstache, M.A.D. Stache is also known for inventing the Carmonica, a harmonica designed for on-the-go musicians.
